New application upgrade to version “4.64.07” has been released.
This upgrade addresses the following issues:

Navigation problem with DVD discs.
Playability problems with SVCD discs.
Play freeze problem with DVD discs.
Improvement to SACD Hybrid disc detection algo - Improvement in servo sw.
The new firmware version is released as service solutions only and wasn’t used in
production of sets.

A.
PREPARATION TO UPGRADE FIRMWARE:
1. Unzip the zip-file
2. Record the two unpacked files on a CD-ROM (datadisc)
3. by using the following settings:
a. File system: ISO9660, JOLIET
b. Format: MODE 2: CDROM
c. Recording mode: SINGLE SESSION (TRACK-AT-ONCE)
d. FINALIZED CD
4. Burn the data onto a blank CDR
IMPORTANT NOTE:
ISO9660 is mandatory, UDF discs are not supported!
The final CDROM only have to contain the unpacked files. Not More.
B.
PROCEDURE TO APPLY THE FIRMWARE UPGRADE:
1. Power up the set and open the DVD tray
2. Insert the prepared Upgrade CDROM and close the tray
3. The upgrade process start automatically.
4. During upgrading the TV screen is black. (or switches back to a program)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Do not press any key buttons or interrupt the mains supply during the entire upgrading
process, otherwise the set may become defective.
5. After Upgrade the DVD tray opens automatically.
6. Remove the Upgrade CDROM
7. The system is upgraded.
