1. Activate wireless LAN adapter





The wireless LAN button is one of the easy launch buttons on top
Press the wireless LAN button to activate wireless LAN
The wireless LAN LED is available in Windows
Power Manager has to be installed

2. Software



Power Manager Version 1.10.0 (responsible for wireless LAN activation)
Odyssey Client 4.02.0.1942

3. Configuration with Odyssey client without encryption


Activate wireless LAN adapter with wireless LAN button (wireless LAN indicator is on)



Deactivate Windows wireless LAN client (WZC):
Start
Control Panel
Network and Internet Connections
Network Connection
Wireless Network Connection
Properties
Wireless Networks
Unmark
„use Windows to configure my wireless network settings“ OK



Start



Select “Networks”
Add
enter SSID
Association mode
= open
Encryption method
= none
OK

All Programs

Odyssey Client for Fujitsu Siemens Computers

Adapter name has to be the same as in
Device Manager
Adds a wireless LAN adapter
Removes an existing wireless LAN adapter

!!Important!! If the driver of the wireless LAN
adapter will be changed in the Device Manager,
then you have to remove the adapter in Odyssey
Client and add it anew
