Graphics Dual mapping of Polish keyboard shortcut (CTRL+ALT+L to ALT+L) Symptom(s): Dual mapping of Polish keyboard shortcut (CTRL+ALT+L to ALT+L) conflicts with an assigned "hot key" in the Intel® Extreme Graphics Driver. A popular character in the Polish language cannot be inserted into text documents when the "Hot Keys" feature of the Intel® Extreme Graphics Driver is enabled (hot keys are enabled by default). Cause: The Polish keyboard maps CTRL+ALT+L to ALT+L. The Intel® Extreme Graphics Driver has CTRL+ALT+L assigned in the registry to a graphics display function. Solution: The current workaround for this issue is to disable the Hot Keys feature within the Intel® Extreme Graphics Driver. To disable the Hot Keys feature, right click on the Windows desktop, select Graphics Properties | Hot Keys | Disable. Alternatively, a simple fix to the Windows* registry will remove the conflicting hot key from the Intel Extreme Graphics Driver and allow both the Polish language shortcuts and the Intel hot keys feature to work. To apply the registry fix, simply download the following registry file: fix-polish.reg from Intel's web site. Once the file is saved, simply right click on the file and select "Merge". You will need to reboot your system in order to complete the fix. Operating System: Windows* 2000, Windows* XP Home Edition, Windows* XP Professional This applies to: Intel® 82845G Graphics Controller. Tyle Intel. A tu masz tę łatkę do rejestru. Swoją drogą to ktoś już pytał o to na Elce :)
