NB7VPQ701M- 1.8V USB 3.x Single Channel Re-driver with Equalization
In Production
Value Proposition
The NB7VPQ701M is a 1.8 V single channel re-drivers tailored for USB 3.X application. 5 /10 Gbps signal integrity degrades via a PCB trace or cable due to
inherent losses and inter-symbol interference (ISI). The NB7VPQ701M input compensates for this loss and ISI by engaging varying levels of equalization. The
output circuitry provides varying De-Emphasis settings along with two separate output levels to provide the best eye openings.

ON Semiconductor Signal Conditioning Cable Performance
Several cable manufactures have requested performance reports of various cable lengths utilizing
our Re-Drivers to verify their cable can pass USB 3.1 Eye Height standards (100mV,diff_p-p).
Cable insertion loss vary from vendor to vendor, cable gauge, type & connectors are huge
contributors to cable loss performance.
Plots below show how a ON Semiconductor Re-Driver compensated losses of 1.5, 1.8 and 3M
cables to ensure greater than 100mV,diff_p-p) eye opening.

NB6VPQP702M USB 3.1 Gen 1 Dual Channel Re-driver with Common Mode Filter
& Super Speed Line ESD protection
Samples Now!
Value Proposition
The NB6VPQP702M is a 1.8V dual channel re-driver with integrated common mode filter & ESD protection tailored for USB 3.0 and 3.1 Gen 1 applications.
5 Gbps signal integrity degrades via a PCB trace or cable due to inherent losses and inter-symbol interference (ISI). The devices compensate for these losses by
engaging various levels of equalization and de-emphasis to provide best eye openings for a transmitted data signal. In addition, the devices integrated common
mode filter (CMF) aids system by minimizing EMI and its high ESD contact protection increases system robustness.
